In the storage and transportation of industrial products and military equipment, suddenchange of the surrounding environment such as the mutation of temperature and humidity,vibration, collision impact will cause unexpected damage to the item. Recording somespecific physical parameters of the storage and transportation helps to improve themanagement level.After the analysis of some key environmental parameters during the storage andtransportation, this article has determined the technical indicators and introduced the technicalprogram of the recorder for characteristic of these parameters. Storage and transportingrecorder is designed based on ARM of the Cortex-M3core; use the I~2C bus sensor to measurethe temperature and humidity and vibration parameters; use the drop detection function of thevibration sensor to wake the system to measure the impact signal during falling. Designed twowake-up schemes to wake the system into two different sampling mode, periodical samplingmode and sudden sampling mode. Temperature and humidity and vibration parameters aresampled in the periodical sampling mode and impact parameter during falling is sampled inthe sudden sampling mode. Design data storage module and communicating module which isconsisted of two communication modes.In addition, this article has introduced several data compression technology, chosen themost suitable one for the storage and transporting recorder after analysis of their advantagesand disadvantages and applicable occasions. And then introduced the design of software module of the system, including signal acquisition module, data storage module, low-powerwake-up module, reading and erase module.At last, analyzed the modal of the PCB using the finite element analysis softwareANSYS, determined the first five order vibration modes of the PCB and the natural frequencyof each mode. Analyzed the falling impact data in the frequency domain, contrasted the resultwith the natural frequency of the PCB and analyzed the reliability of the system.
