With the development of electronic technology and computer science, DSP (digitalsignal processing) has been widely used in the areas.The areas include: electricity,communication, motor control, image processing, computer networks, and householdappliances, etc. As one of the fastest growing in the field of electronic industry products,DSP has been greatly improved and improve from its inception. And the technology cost isreduced, so that it has broad market prospects.With the advance of technique level and the improvement of technology, DSP notonly achieve the high performance, at the same time, lower cost, better stability, whichmakes it accord with the needs of the people.DSP is widely used in motor control field.For DSP, peripheral circuits Event Manager plays a vital role, which directly affect theoperation of DSP speed and accuracy.This topic is the design of event managementmodule of DSP which used in the industrial field. The system has been found that it hasthe advantages of simple implementation, high voltage utilization and strong real-time inthe study of the event manager in various functions.It effectively improve the movementof the machine performance.This subject analyzes DSP chip TMS320LF2407with the reverse extraction method.Through the reverse engineering, this paper introduces the chip event manager module ofthe basic principle, including general timer, more units, orthogonal code pulse inputcircuit, capture unit, each module summarized and performance optimization andsimulation module and overall circuit verification. The simulation results show thatextraction circuit performance comply with the design requirements.This subject adopts Charted0.35um BiCmos processes.It analyases hardwaresystem,and design a high speed, high precision event manager, through the writingcorresponding Veriloge code and ModuleSim software with the combination ofsimulation.It finally reaches the design requirements.
