The Design And The Evaluation Of Event Monitor And Ruler Manager In Adbms

There is consensus in the community on the Event-Condition-Action(ECA) as the most general format for expressing rules in an active database management sysytem.When various event occur,conditions will be check.if it is true,action will be performed. DBMS is desired to monitor the status of the database automatically. A most important idear in Active database system is the server automatically for system[1]. Detection of Method and Composite Events in the Active DBMS is important for implementation of Event Detection and rule management. In order to enhance the optimization of event monitor and ruler manager, in this paper we introduce a principle of event monitor and ruler manager .And we evaluate systematically the performance of event monitor and ruler manager by OBJECTIVE in terms of effects in ADBMS.
