After the disaster occurs,located in the township staff to report the disaster, the first time use of client softwarecalled mobile phone camera to shoot the disaster picture,edit disaster-related information, click on the send button after editing, PDA client software will access the GPS latitude and longitude information taken to be uploaded to the regional center, regional center for the first time by uploading the latitude and longitude information shows the specific disaster location and disaster-related information,so that timely and effective handling of the disaster.Regional centers can custom select the objects issued disaster information,this information with latitude and longitude of the affected land, as well as disaster-related information,GIS is called after the client receives the module shows the specific location where the disaster,and now than on the location of the client,optimized path computation, the screen displayed on the client for the timely rescue.Meanwhile, disaster data collection, reporting and issued the effective implementation of the various parts will form a complete, intelligent, convenient andefficient disaster reporting applications.This paper describes the information collection at home and abroad for the development of PDA status and existing problems, our data reporting the disaster, as well as, the status of disaster information classification, and then made the PDA based on Windows mobile terminal equipment for the earthquake disasterinformation collection System design.From the overall system architecture, overall system functionality, information content and format of the disaster, the paper describes in detail; focused on the earthquakeinformation data classification and coding, and PDA disaster acquisition softwaredetailed design. Finally, a summary of the issues and prospects, the design shortcomings that exist in the views put forward to improve.
