Focusing on some problems, for example the low automatic level of countrysidedistribution grids, the serious damages devices suffered and the great labor intensityelectrical works bearing etc, a monitoring system of countryside electrical courttransformer including intelligent terminals and their background software is in urgentneed of developing, and it opens the door to the intelligent countryside grids.The paper generally described current status of countryside grids, their seriousdefects, measures for solving the problems and their limitations. Through surveying inclients’ units and communicating with them several times, function needs ofmonitoring system had been confirmed. According to design philosophy of softwareengineering, the function needs had been carefully analyzed and regulated, then theneed analysis report was written. According to need analysis and communicationrequirements of countryside grids, the frame of monitoring system was designed and areasonable software architecture was chosen. According to need analysis and structurefeatures of countryside grids, a suitable data model was chosen, then structure ofdatabase’s modules and their relation were confirmed. Oracle10g of Oracle Corp waschosen to be the basic platform of background software. The background softwarewas divided to several modules, and flow diagrams of some functions also weredesigned. Object-Oriented Programming and three-tier architecture of B/S were usedto shell. The development tool is Visual Studio2005of Microsoft, and theprogramming language is Visual C#.The paper provided a detail example that is leakage protect controlling module toillustrate the developed process of the background software. The background softwarehave several advantages such as completed function, great practicability and wellreliability etc.
