Data disaster recovery is a problem of great theoretic and practical significance to government departments and enterprises in the process of informationization construction. The establishment of a disaster recovery system includes the designing and study of related technology, demand analysis, overall designing and system realization, etc. The disaster recovery system mainly comprises of two components -- data back-up and data recovery. Therefore, hardware configuration and optimized choice of management software become the key to guarantee the realization and smooth operation of the disaster recovery system.To solve this problem, the article takes the construction of "Digital Dongying" Remote Disaster Recovery System as study object, utilizes related technologies and focuses on the study of the overall project design, the realization of the system and its application. Items covered by the article are as follows:1 Study of related technologies. The article outlines the basic concept of disaster recovery, analyses technologies involved, and, trough comparison, proposes the construction objective of the disaster recovery system of Dongying City.2 According to the construction demand of the "Digital Dongying" Remote Disaster Recovery System and taking into consideration of the reality of Dongying's informationization construction, the article completes the analysis and design of the local data backup center, the remote backup center, the data transmission system, the tape library and the management software.3 According to the overall design of the "Digital Dongying" Remote Disaster Recovery System, the article carries out the analysis and designing of function component configuration and realization, and proposes targeted management strategies according to the construction situation.The article provides reference for small and medium-sized cities to back up important resources in government and urban informationization construction, and recover lost data in the shortest time with the smallest loss.
