Digital design systems need to continuously evolve to adapt to the dynamicallychange of design environmental of manufacturing product. But by the current digitaltechnology for product, the design, analysis, manufacturing and assembly of productmust use several different soft systems, it results in a lot of redundant informationand low data consistency, and it is very difficult to achieve integration and reuse ofproduct information. Based on the above situation, the research team in writerresearch laboratory has developed a digital design system with advanced modelstructure to achieve integration and the reuse of the product information.It is the “AModel with Four Bodies” product information model and the AMFSDI system.Laboratory has done a darge of theory research from macro,and proposed theconcept of order parameter to compare the traditional digital design system with newsystem by specific example. but has never analysed the model theory with humanbehavior in microscopic,result in”A Model with Four Bodies”sufficient in theory butinsufficient in actual.The research is based on”Advanced Design Theory and Method of Engineeringand Product”―Key Project of the National Natural Science Foundation(60635020).Firstly,the status of the”A Model with Four Bodies”model theory research wereanalyized to propose a new way for rearching the evolution of digital design systemfrom the perspective.A product digital design system mode with pros and cons wasidentified,by the analysis from design behavior in different digital design system forthe same product,to describe the evolution of the system and demonstrate thesuperiority of AMFSDI system.Secondly, according to the independence unit information to describe thenecessary information among the general product design process from the angle ofbehavior, transforme the hierarchical structure of the independent unit informationinto the relationship between design behavior concept systems, the design behaviorquantity required by the independent unit information were calculated, and then thedesign behavior quantity data table of the independent unit information was built,finally,specific measurement method of design behavior quantity and calculation werecarryed out.Thirdly,the characteristics of “AMFSDI” system software and the using in the process of product design with this system were analyized.Compare the process fordesigning a sheet metal die design in the tradition system with in the “AMFSDI”system from design behavior,to demonstrate the superiority of the systemquantitatively.Finally,by analyzing the diffient design behavior in gainning the IUI in the twodifferert systems,the improved method in gainning the IUI in AMFSDI system wasproposed,and further demands were proposed in the database for the system.
