Aaa For Wireless Heterogeneous Converged Network And Its Engineering Design

With the rapid development of the information age, mobile communication is placed higherexpectations and requirements. Users require not only a steady voice communication, but also avariety of ways to conduct data and multimedia communications. The current CDMA and WLANhas been increasingly widely used, they are highly complementary of network coverage, business,transfer rates, roaming. So, the integration of3G network and WLAN can achieve a very high value.But for CDMA and WLAN, heterogeneity exists on the network characteristics, and there are someoverlap in functionality and business, so the combination of Fusion has always been a difficulty.This paper presents a new method, combine the two wireless heterogeneous networks together by3GPP AAA mechanisms, when a user access a WLAN in hotspot areas, can also access the CDMAbusiness, Therefore,3GPP AAA has high research value for CDMA and WLAN.This article is based on high speed transmission of WLAN, wider coverage of CDMA andother features, analysing of the advantages and disadvantages of existing heterogeneous networkinterconnection model of AAA mechanisms, by introducing the WAPI certificate identificationmechanism, we put forward a heterogeneous integrated network model of CDMA and WLAN, atthe same time, we use a new AAA mechanisms, eventually building a fusion network securityaccess system which is compatible with the WLAN safety standards. The system achieves theunified authentication of CDMA and WLAN, solving the problems of terminal user adaptive accessand enabling the system to maintain a low cost of communication and calculation.In this paper,we first describe the development of the series of3GPP, and the research ofwireless communication protocol and ways of intergation of networks, and analysis the interactionmodel of3GPP and AAA mechanism of3GPP; secondly the paper researches hybrid networkarchitecture of CDMA and WLAN and describes it’s needs; then we analysis the advantages anddisadvantages of existing heterogeneous network Interworking model AAA mechanism based onthe research of wireless heterogeneous network and a new AAA mechanisms is introduced applyingin wireless heterogeneous network integration and designs the AAA service system of acessnetwork of WLAN and core network of CDMA; finally we research the software architecture ofheterogeneous integrated network and engineering implementation method of system modules andinterfaces, and test the system to verify the reliability and feasibility of wireless heterogeneousnetwork integration programmes.
