With the constant interconnection between wireless network and the Internet,mobile communication will become one of the most dynamic industries. As the twomain technologies, Wireless LAN(WLAN) and third-gengration mobilecommunication networks(3G) becoming a hot topic of research in interconnectionbetween them. In this stage, the vast majority research work are concentrated in theintegration of WLAN and3G networks with the802.11i security protocol but notwith WAPI(WLAN Authentication and Privacy Infrastructure) which is our ownintellectual property national mendatory safety standards.Consigering the access authentication for mobile terminals in the3G-WLANheterogeneous networks, a new WAPI secure access authentication scheme based onthe identity-based cryptograph was designed. This protocol effective solute thesecure access authentication with WAPI mechanism in WLAN-3G networksintegration and achieve the compatibility of domestic and international safetystandards.And its security attributes was formally proofed with Protocol CompositionLogic. By the security proof and comprehensive analysis, it is showed that theproposed scheme not only has session authentication and key confidentiality, butalso can defend man-in-the-middle attack, provide the mutual authenticationbetween UE and3G network.
