Based On The Test Management System Sctm Report Subsystem

With growth of Internet technology, Java Web applications are gotten more interest among scholars due to Internet’s nature. Models and frameworks can improve Java Web Applications’quality and efficiency. In this dissertation, we study the Silk Central Test Manager System, and then because of its weakness, integrated framework and test report module are re-designed. Our design can improve software development’s efficiency and quality.Silk Test Central Manager is a test manager system, but its test report module cannot meet Trend Micro Company’s requirements, and also cannot locate test case quickly. In this dissertation, our work is re-developing Test Report System on Silk Central Test Manager, its name is Trend SCTM Report System, and it also calls TSR System. It develops for Trend Micro Company’s test manager system:Silk Central Test Manager. It has two purposes: Firstly, replace SCTM’s Test Report System; secondly, help the users to locate test case quickly, and also generate test report.The system architecture in the design used three-tier architecture, which are presentation layer, business logical layer, and persistence layer. The presentation layer uses the JSF framework; the business logical layer uses the spring framework, and the persistence layer uses iBatis framework. Combining these three technologies make full use of their advantages, get an integrated Web framework. In fact, system layering is a technique for increasing code reusability, scalability, and maintainability. In addition, in a good design all of the layers should be independent from each other.
