Based On Mtk Platform Mobile Phone Standby System

Mobile Terminal is significant technology in communication industry. Feature phone and smart phones are generated by using mobile terminal. A feature phone is kind of mobile phones, which is not considered to be a smart phone in the production time due to lacking several features. In contrast to standard mobile phones, it has additional features that make it more useful. Moreover, the same as smart phone, it can run applications. However, the number of interfaces in the feature phone is less than which in smart phone. Also, the feature phone cannot run native programs, which are based on JAVA ME or BREW. To compare with feature phone, smart phone has some weaknesses such as its expensive price, poor humanization design, and not stable operation system. Therefore the smart phone cannot take the feature phone’s place in communication society immediately. Nevertheless, the feature phone must improve the user experience and simplify the users’operations with the same stability of operation system.The organization of our dissertation is as follows:Firstly, we introduce MTK, which is designed by MediaTek, as represented by the feature phone, and take the recent researches on the feature phone. Secondly, by comparing with the smart phone, we could find the functions, which increase User Experience. Finally, we implement the functions that exist in the smart phone such as the live wallpaper, the function which can unlock the screen by customer and the function of the good effect. The implemented functions meet the users’requirements of individual, and increase the aesthetics on the idle screen in the feature phone.
