With the popularity of smart phones, especially the birth of low cost (1000RMB)smart phones, the trend that smart phones will replace the traditional feature phones isbecoming increasingly apparent. Facing with the complicated changes resulted fromthe enhancement of operating system, the development of hardware technology, thediversity of interaction and the rich application, it is particularly important fortraditional users to learn how to quickly adapt to the operating system of the smartphone. In this trend, based on the user habits of traditional phones and the features ofsmart phones, the mobile Internet industry attaches great importance to explore thesmart phone user guide with good user experiences and transfer the traditional featurephone users to intermediate smart phone users quickly and without suffering, which isalso the main contents of this thesis.This paper introduces the Flow Theory to study smart phone user guide system tomake users use the product fast and delightedly. The keynote of this study: based onthe contrast characteristics of feature phones and smart phones, the present thesis putsforward the factor analysis assumption, the variable element clustering assumptionand the interventional angle of smart phone user guide; familiarizing oneselfwith smart operating system and setting the flow experience as the starting point,study the involvement of Flow Theory for smart phone user guide system and putforward two-stage of Flow Model involvement (OOBE phase, Iterative phase); on thebasis of verifying the Intervention point,study the inherent experience of featurephone user which is the target in OOBE phase, and then build the balance modelbetween “high skills-high challenge” in user guide system with Flow Model byguiding way in different strength; in the framework of Flow model, continue to studythe controllable variables of user guide system, the iterative elements and elasticconditions, ultimately build the model of OOBE stage and iterative stage, anddemonstrate the effectiveness and credibility earlier in follow-up interaction designpractices.The main innovations of this thesis includes:firstly, incorporated with the FactorAnalysis, contrasted classification and qualitative analysis, the paper explores theinterventional angle in smart phone guide system for feature phone users and departthe system creatively;Secondly, on the basis of Flow experience, the paper refines and quantifies all stages and main tasks in smart phone user guide system, introducing theguiding way in different strength to keep two dimensions always on a high levelequilibrium. In addition, it then studies the controllable variables and iterativecondition, creates the operating skills to use smart phone quickly for feature phoneusers without smart phone experience and builds the guide system even to be expertusers. Believing that the research which extends the Flow experience to the field ofmobile Internet users guide is relatively weak in domestic, therefore, to study thesmart phone user guide system with feature-user-centric has a very essentialtheoretical and practical significance.
