Intelligent vehicles are an import part of the modern intelligent transportation system. Traditional intelligent vehicle is a combination of computer technology to achieve automatic driving, automatic transmission, and automatic identification of road and so on. However it not only makes high cost, complex structure system inner vehicle, also can not be monitored if those technologies, for example automatic control, artificial intelligence and visual computing technology are integrated in vehicle. Except for that, there are moan inadequacies in terms of anti-jamming, timeliness, accuracy, etc. Traditional intelligent vehicles have been unable to meet needs of the modern city. With the introduction of the concept of Internet of Things and it is being applied in various fields in life, intelligent vehicle can be remote controlled in real time and accurately if Internet of Tings technology is combination with intelligent vehicle technology, especially Internet of Thing technology and speed control and directional control technology of intelligent vehicle. From this perspective, the paper studied architecture of control key technology of Internet of Vehicle based on GPRS. The architecture has two aspects; on the one hand, the system acquired data information of vehicle by AD module of lower control core MCU. Then the data would be transmitted to monitoring terminal of the host computer in the way of IP packet through GPRS network; the other hand, the terminal would adjust the operation of vehicle according the information from the lower MCU. However the control commands would be sent to the lower MCU still throng GPRS network in the way of IP packet. At last the MCU would output signal in order to achieve the function of remote automatic control of vehicle according the command which was from the terminal.In the paper, it first analyzed related theory and technology of Internet of Thing technology, GPRS technology, and speed and direction control of vehicle. After that, it designed two independent remote control systems of Internet of vehicle, one is composed by mobile phone, GPRS MODEM and MCU; the other is composed by host computer software, GPRS MODEM and MCU. Among the whole process of research, the focus is to achieve two ways of data transfer by SIM300GPRS module of SIMCOM Company. The two data transmission is respectively by SMS and GPRS-Internet network.The main research and design work of the entire architecture in this paper is as following: (1) It has designed and realized the hardware of subsystem composed by HCS12MCU, which is belonged to Freescale and as master controller, and mobile phone which is as terminal monitor.(2) It has designed and realized the hardware of subsystem composed by HCS12MCU, which is belonged to Freescale and as master controller, and PC which is as terminal monitor.(3) It has prepared some part AT command codes of SIM300, including SMS and GPRS network code of two subsystems’lower MCU, according to analysis and research the overall framework and process of the application program of two the subsystems’lower MCU.(4) It has designed a PC monitoring interface program to achieve the remote control of the lower MCU, according to the functional needs of the lower MCU.The hardware and software of the system has passed a series of tests, including real-time and reliability of GPRS communication, data acquisition and motor speed. And the result of the field experiments shows:the system can accurately and reliably realize the functions of data acquisition, data transmission, data processing, remote control, etc. It can fully meet the requirements of remote control Internet of Vehicle.
