Design Of HSE System Based On WIA-PA

HSE (Health, Safety and Environment) system was first created in the petrochemical industry. HSE system can identify hazard, assess risks of the whole process of production and business activities through continuous acquiring and analyzing potential health, safety and environmental hazards to the whole process of production and business activities, thus lead to a purpose of safe production. HSE system is not only applicable to the petrochemical industry but also applicable to various types of industries, it’s a modern production program for production safety and a necessary means to achieve safe production.Industrial wireless network is the future development direction of industrial automation for achieving low-cost, high-reliability, high flexibility industrial automation. This paper, around the topic of industrial wireless network standard WIA-PA which has independent intellectual property rights and HSE system, to find a solution of low-cost HSE system for small and medium-sized enterprises, discusses the feasibilities of HSE system based on WIA-PA and proposes solutions of designing HSE system based on WIA-PA.The overall system includes WIA-PA monitoring terminal, WIA-PA wireless gateway and HSE software, gives the details of hardware, software design processes, and finally complete the communication test and system test.
