The issue of the quality and safety of agricultural products attracts widespread concern. The application and popularization.of automatic identification technology based on barcode technology and image processing technology, provides the technical foundation for agricultural products quality and safety traceability. However, due to uncertain agricultural products shape and uneven light, resulting barcode image uneven illumination and geometric distortion, leading to the low success rate of low decoding speed. This paper studies on the QR code, using computer image processing technology. Research on the two-dimensional bar code posted on the surface of agricultural products, and the main content and achievement of the research are as follows:1. Achieved the segmentation of uneven illumination QR barcode image. Aiming at the uneven illumination on QR barcode, accomplished the programme based on fast adaptive binarization algorithm,which can adapt to the uncertainty light scene caused· by the uneven illumination.2. Propose the least squares method to locate the barcode. For the barcode of perspective transformation image caused by the trapezoidal distortion, propose boundaries fitting based on the the least squares method, compared with the Hough transform has advantages of high accuracy and fast speed.3. Designed and implemented the QR barcode decoding software on the Android platform. Developed the software on the eclipse development tools with java language to identify QR barcode, including camera control and decoding two modules. Achieved the original image acquisition, image pre-processing, barcode locationg, decoding, barcode content interpretation and classification.
