Lots of food safety accidents happened in recent years, and food safety problemsare more and more wide surface, food safety problems run much deeper,which affectpeople’s daily life seriously. In order to protect the customers’ benefits, developagricultural traceability system is extremely urgent, but the process of agriculturalproduce from planting to sales is complicated, and many links, in order to make theconsumers quickly and convenient query the traceability information of agriculturalproducts, this essay develops an agricultural products traceability system based onAndroid system by using smart agricultural as research background, the systemtakes QR code as research object. And this system make the farm, agriculturalproducts supervision departments and customers connected in a closed loop system,which to ensure higher accuracy of agricultural products traceability information,further improve the quality and safety of agricultural products. The main researchharvests are as follows:1. Investigated the situation of domestic and foreign traceability system bysearching some relevant literature, the problems of current traceability system toChinese agricultural products were analyzed and summarized, and the main objectivesof this article were determined.2. Introduced the related knowledge of agricultural traceability system, forexample, Android system, Web Service, MD5, Bar code etc.3. Build the database of agricultural products information. According to theanalysis of agricultural planting obtain the key information of agricultural traceability,and create the agricultural products information database.4. Developed data collecting phone terminal based on Android system, which ismainly responsible for collecting agricultural products information, realizing user login and traceability information collect，and upload these information to database.5. Developed information inquiry phone terminal based on Android system,which is mainly responsible for barcode recognition, customers can judge the qualitysafety of agricultural products, which can protect customers’ benefit, and also,customers can check the scan history and propose suggestion.
