Design And Implementation Of Oracle Computer Exam System

With the rapid development of computer technology’s application in the field of education,computer-aided instruction is becoming a key point of the current education reform, andcomputer exam system is very important in the process of the construction of digital campus.Oracle Database exam system is welcomed by the majority of teachers and students because itcan finish the proposition, paper printing, the arrangement of the examination room, testscoring, results announcement and many other aspects without human, and there is nosubjective factors such as artificial test scoring.Based on the research of the characteristics and needs of today’s exam system and thereference of several exam systems at home and abroad, this article presents an OracleDatabase exam system which contains the Oracle Database exam and practice. The examsystem is consisted of by four parts: the user information management page module, exampage module, papers develop page module and papers review page module. In the userinformation management page module, you can manage three kinds of users, that is, thecandidates, the teachers and the administrators. This page can make fuzzy query and precisequeries according to the user ID and user name, and the progress bar will be displayed whenthe user queries, it can make bulk delete to the user information, it can also add a new userrole. While entering the exam page module, after the candidates successfully login in, theywill enter in the papers selection page and enter the exam page. There has set exam time and avariety of questions in this page, such as single choice, multiple choices, true or false, fill inthe blank and operation questions. In the papers develop page module, it mainly achievedmanually formulated papers, every type of questions would be show up in the exam questions.When formulating the papers, you can use the CheckBox control to selected questions. In thepapers review page,the system will automatically marking the answers and saving the scoresin the candidates’ score sheet.The system was successfully arranged in the engine room of Guangzhou VocationalCollege of Technology and Business, and the test results show that it achieves the aim of thesystem designation: seriousness and fairness. The system will automatically submit the paperwhen the time is over; examination time countdown function can let the candidates keep abreast of the exam time remaining; and the system also can automatically carry out anassignment and scoring; the candidates can check the final test scores in this system.
