Exam Management System Design And Implementation

The new curriculum reform for senior high schools in Zhejiang Province was implemented in September, 2006. Its most outstanding characteristic is to emphasize on the assessment of students'learning process, that is, every course is organized on a module basis, and some courses have 2-3 modules in one semester. After a module is over, students will have a mock test except for the mid-term and final examinations. The greater frequency of tests brings much trouble to the office of studies as well as the teachers. Therefore, with a bid to alleviate their burdens, our school intends to develop the B/S test bank management system, and set it as sub-subject of Research and Practice on Network Teaching under New Curriculum Reform for Senior High Schools, a planning project of Education Department of Zhejiang Province.Firstly, this dissertation introuduces the basic thery and key problems in examination database, studies the .net Framework and the advantages on developing the enterpeise system abiding by the design requirements and introduces the MS SQL and unified development means. Secndly, it puts forward the requirements on examination database, defines the whole architecture and studies the concept design, module design , entity design and the database safety in detailed. The core function of the examination question bank management system is automatically composing test paper.This paper studies the basic function ways of composing test paper in automatically composing test paper, puts forward the deficiency information to result in efficiency and advances a mix coding schema which combines with binary system and character and designs operation process The revised coding can takes the more information and extract the chart number and value in arithmetic, reduce operation steps and esay realization.Meanwhile, coding by the title type to produce examination paper can meet the requirement and reduces error and enhance adaptness in initial results and adaptness efficiency.Finally, it design the examination database management system on .NET platform and implements this system using three layers structs, studies every layer in detailed, design the setup software in sofeware engineering.After the testing, the teachers and leaders and have a highly appraise on this system. The grouping exam efficency and quality have got the objective, there is some shortcoming, mainly the grouping sheman is need to proved and function is neet to strengthen.
