Design And Implementation Of Information Management System For Secondary Vocational Schools

As secondary vocational and technical schools pay more and more attention toeducation administration of school, all schools are now in the competition. For the schooleducational administration department, the most important problem to be solved is how tomaintain the existing large amount of data students’ information and the historical data. Todevelop and deploy the MIS systems for these schools is the key to realize the schoolorganization management and sustainable development.In order to provide all the stuffs and students with high quality management service,improve schools’ management level and the quality of service, strengthen the platform ofstandard management, improve education management the support ability, these schoolsmust depend on an IT system which is designed just for these schools’ attributes.Considering the development requirement of secondary vocational and technicalschool in Huilai County, this thesis has researched the status and requirement of the schooland then proposed a web-based information management system for secondary vocationalschools. Taking use of the prevailing B/S software framework, J2EE+SSH as programmingtool and application platform, and role-based anylasis for purpose of design, this systemproposed on the thesis mainly have capabilities of system management, OA, recruitmanagement, student basic information management, education management, reportmanagement and so on. Able to be compatible to those mainstream browsers, this system isfeatured with easy-application, high efficiency and high-level security, providing excellentbackground data management to make the post-management maintenance easier.
