Ajax Technology-based Vocational College Educational Management System Development And Implementation

With the constant development of society and the increasing demand for talentquality, our higher education has evolved from top elitist cultivation to mass education,aiming at bringing up high quality talent. It’s difficult for the traditional, low-efficient,overloaded educational administration ways, teaching management means and limitedteaching resources to satisfy the demand of current teaching and teaching management.The thesis analyzed a lot about current situation at home and abroad of collegeeducational administration managing system, put forward solutions to deal withproblems existing presently and introduced knowledge such as used techniques, systemstructure, developing system environment, developing instrument and databasetechnique in realizing this project. According to author’s experiences in teaching andteaching management work many years, the general function and capacity of currentteaching management system were analyzed on the basis of software engineering, whichsettled a foundation for system design and physical realization. Since the current onecannot supply timely and efficient information needed by users, the solution wasproposed from technical aspect and the final objective of this system was ascertained.Adopting the prevalent MVC design pattern and combining AJAX technique andjQuery frame, a new teaching management system was invented. The new one has abeautiful and concise operator interface and possesses three subsystems managed byteachers, students and departments, whose function and security can accord withrequirement of teaching management. In addition, based on campus network, the projectenables students, teachers and teaching management staffs from each secondary collegecommunicate via moblephone, E-mail, computer etc. terminal equipments to superviseteaching resources as teachers, subjects, exams, grades, labs, etc. The project applies thecombination of report forms and charts to intuitively outstand the evaluation effect ofteaching quality, and it also offers an excellent communication platform for students,teachers and teaching management staffs to gain needed teaching resources at anymoment, so it achieves efficient teaching administration work and teaching work.Consequently, the realization of this teaching management system has a lot of help for improving work efficiency of present teaching management, which reflects definitesocial and economic value.
