| Restricted by the network environment, online examination system based on Web often appear various problems. For example, when many users are online at the same time, there are higher requirements for the performance of the server and the bandwidth; when examinees are working online, the page refresh makes the system run at a slow speed; the examination papers are unable to be submitted, and so on. Aiming at the existing defects of the online examination system, this paper is to study the new technology of AJAX, jQuery to improve and perfect the online examination.At present, Anqing Vocational and Technical College is in the key period of construction as a provincial model college. Technology of Computer Network, construction of which is one of the projects, is a provincial characteristic professionalism. Designing and Making of the Computer Network is being built as the provincial excellent course. The research is based on the provincial quality engineering construction. The research content is design and realization of the standardized examination platform based on Ajax+jQuery,. The platform enables students to do exercises online and take examinations through network. Administrators and teachers can master the learning status of students through the network.This paper firstly introduces the theory background and status of electronic information system of Anqing Vocational and Technical College. Combining with the situation of provincial model college construction and analysis of the examination situation, the paper shows the aim of the research and explains the significance of developing and applying online standardized examination platform. Such relevant development technology as jQuery, Ajax, ASP.NET, SQL Server database technology and B/S three layer system structure are discussed. Through the research and analysis of the needs of teachers and students, two major functional modules (on-line examination module and management module) of the standardized examination platform are needed. The online examination module realizes the functions of examinee’s registration through the pages, logging on to online exams and submitting scores. Examination management module realizes the functions of authentication and examination bank management, paper management and examination management, student management and performance management, system maintenance etc. Based on the analysis of function design of system modules, some specific designs of the database are made and a database table is formed. Detailed design and realization of examination platform are discussed in the paper.At present, the online standardized examination platform based on Ajax+jQuery technology is being used in the department. The users can keep the data without updating the whole page.The common problems appearing in the examination platform such as the white screen phenomenon and the server burden have been solved. This online standardized examination platform realizes automatic storage and submission of data, accurate timing and more interactive and responsive online examination experience. |
