Spare part management is a compulsory course, especially for these capitalintensive enterprises. For companies, equipment spare part management is a trickyproblem. On one hand, equipment management people are facing shortage issue whichwill induce machine hard down; On the other hand too much inventory will lead to highcost; How to balance the inventory and cost will be the key success factor for enterprise.Looking across the global semiconductor manufacturing, most of themanufacturing process is very complex, equipment types are various, processing andmanufacturing precision are quite high and machine price is quite expensive, beside thisthe parts demand is huge, so it is necessary to build a perfect spare part informationtracking management system. This paper learns the advanced spare part managementconcept and research results from both home and abroad, after market analyzingestablish the goal, designs and realizes spare part information tracking system toprovide users good parts management service to guide the manufacturing. Thensummarize the theoretical knowledge during system development after getting goodcommunication with client, come out the system needs analysis; based on the database,data table design, network topology design, system function module design, and theprogram flow design finally finish the whole system design. After design will performfunction integration, process optimization and system test. Through the test cases to dosystem unit testing and system functionality and NFT test to ensure system smoothlyrun and meet the delivery requirement. In the last, use JMP as statistical analysis tool torealize the enterprise spare part information tracking and management and achieve theclose union between theory and practice.In this paper, the system data processing interface leverages the most popularASP.NET dynamic pages display technology, XML data transmission technology andADO.NET database interactive technology etc. It has data accuracy positioning, datasimultaneity/integrity transmission, the optimal management, good human-machineinteraction interface etc.
