Distribution transformers directly assign electrical energy to the low-voltageelectrical equipment users. The operating data is an important part of the basis data ofthe entire distribution network. In the actual distribution network, a large number ofdistribution transformers are usually dispersive, and as a terminal equipment, the healthof distribution transformers is directly related to the reliable use of electric energy. Thus,its operating data for real-time acquisition and monitoring is necessary.Distribution transformer monitoring system can remotely collect data ofdistribution transformers automatically, and change the current manual monitoring ofdistribution transformer. Thus, distribution transformer data can be measured in a timelymanner. It allows more complete distribution management, reduces the maintenancestaff workload and improves the electricity efficiency to run the maintenance andmanagement. Meanwhile, it can play a positive role to reduce troubleshooting costs, andto reduce troubleshooting time.In this paper, a scheme integrating Ad Hoc network technology with GPRS toachieve the remote distribution monitoring is proposed. Specifically, the remotedistribution monitoring system insists in the indoor power distribution transformerparameter acquisition device, the Ad Hoc terminal node, the Ad Hoc routing node, theAd Hoc gateway node, GPRS module, monitor, computer and management staff phone.This monitoring system has several advantages, such as automatic networking,automatic routing, multi-level relay and other. And thus it reduces the investment inhardware and communications costs.After in-depth anglicizing the combination of GPRS communication technologyand the Ad Hoc network monitoring, we design and implementation the remotemonitoring System.This article describes the knowledge of the database selection and developmenttools. After the detailed analysis, the system is chose as the C#with SQL Server2005.The database management system is uses C/S architecture model, interface designuses a graphical user interface style, the program is designed with modular structure design methods。It including data monitoring, online modification of parameters,historical data online inquiries and online fault alarm and other functions. The finaldesign can be used for data acquisition, display, monitoring, storage and wirelesstransmission, distribution transformer monitoring system, and to improve real-timesystem through the use of the Ad Hoc network and GPRS communication.Final, the main work which the author did in the design performance have carriedon and the summary to this system application and proposed waited for furtherconsummates and the improvement place.
