The Design And Implementation Of Online Book Sales System

With the development of economy and people’s living standard, shopping online is becoming more and more popular. In recent years part of book stores start to develop book selling system online. Customers can buy book only if they can access the Internet. But Chinese e-commerce is far behind the other countries. It is necessary to develop a book selling system which include abundant of functions and easy to operate.This thesis is based on the knowledge of the e-commerce. And this system’s development and design also base on this. This paper is focusing on the functions about books. This paper is mainly talking about the requirements, design and development of this system. The main purpose is that customers can buy books anywhere can access the Internet and saving customers time. This system provide five modules, login and logout module, customer’s information management module, customer’s shopping cart information management module, book information management module and statistics module. The most important of these modules are customer’s shopping cart information management module and book information management module. These two modules provide the main function for customers to buy books online. This system provides simple interfaces for customers to operate online. It is easy for customers to use.This system uses the B/S architecture, and it is convenient to expansibility and maintainability. MVC mode is the base of developing the system. In the process of developing the system, I use open-source frameworks like Struts2, iBatis and Spring. User interface in this system is made with JSP. Business of the book store system is completed using Java. My database is MySQL, developing the system with eclipse. SVN plays an important role in edition control. Using these techniques increases our efficiency of developing. And it is convenient to expand and maintain the system. After finished the system, it solves the problems well which are about shopping cart management, book information management. Compared with normal analysis method, it is fast and efficient.
