| The request for freshness and effectiveness of information service is being enhanced with the development of information technology. It is of great practical significance to develop a library information management system based on SMS, which is designed to fulfill functions of reminding, inquiring, ordering and renewing library holdings.The study adopts object-oriented software developing approach, which requires the researchers to have to launch requirement analysis of the system, and then to determine the objects in the system: readers, books, librarians, short messages, for instance; then it comes to have class diagram of the system designed after that of the relationship among objects. Taking the relationship among objects into consideration, the researcher designs UML system sequence chart. Entity-relationship model, which is designed according to requirement analysis,contributes,in turn,to the design of list structure of database. With designs finished and Struts2, iBATIS and AJAX technology, the short-message sending and receiving is available through the SMSG API offered by mobile networks operator.The researcher employs object-oriented software developing approach and popular Struts2+iBATIS+AJAX development mode in J2EE technology, which helps accomplish the uncoupling among modules and the high cohesion in the modules. Struts2 fully embodies the design idea. iBATIS supplies the mapping between relationship database and objects. AJAX offers excellent user experience for web clients.In accordance with developing need, system operation is hierarchal and modular. Presentation layer is used to exchange information with clients, and operation layer deals with the requests from presentation layer. Data layer charges the accessing of data. The system is divided into modules including SMS, access control. The thesis demonstrates in detail the design of the key component of layers of the system and makes a summary and prospect of the operating condition. |
