With the continuous propulsion of information’s construction in universities, avariety of management information systems are more and more widely used in theprocessing of teaching in universities. Among which, managements of the party affairsin colleges are what each university must face, the major institutions used artificialmanagements in the past, some institutions got rid of the traditional manualmanagement methods, but a great deal of inconvenience was brought to datasharing,storage, management and so on, because of the imperfections of the used software. Atthe same time, the population of colleges and universities becomes larger and larger, sothe number of party members is also more and more, there are many new problems inthe traditional management systems of party members’ information of colleges anduniversities, the urgent demand is needed to develop new management systems of partymembers in colleges and universities. In the face of a variety of managementinformation systems in the market, how to find a management information systemwhich is really suitable for schools attracts more and more attention. Because a school isa special group of applications, many schools choose to independentally developmanagement information systems to meet their own applying needs in the face of theirrelatively simple applications demands, which does not only have a lower cost, but alsocan be designed according to the requirements, the realization of the system’s function issimple, but it has a very strong practical application.In this paper, the detailed systems’ design and requirement analysis of informationmanagement system of party affairs are carried out by combining all departments’ usingdemand for party affairs’ management system according to the practical work of theparty affairs’ management in the Sichuan College of Architectural Technology, includingdatabase design, system function division, and multi-user design. An informationmanagement system of the party affairs is studied and designed. The system is designedto implement five main modules such as party members’ basic informationalmanagement and query, dues and organizational management, party members’development management, which makes the management standardize and realizes the paperless office in a certain extent.The system uses B/S system’s architecture based on WEB, and adopts the ASPdynamic WEB development technology as the foundation, taking the SQL Serverdatabase as backend database, just using the structured programming method to developa set of management systems of party affairs, basically it meets the major applyingdemands for the management of party affairs in the Sichuan College of ArchitecturalTechnology, Meanwhile, in the aspects of database and code security, the correspondingprocessing is also made, meeting requirements of security and stability for the system’soperation.The thesis firstly describes the researching background, purpose and meaning ofthe party affairs’ management information systems, as well as the domestic and foreignresearching status. Secondly, it elaborates the technology and theoretical basis of partyaffairs’ management information system; Again, combining with the researchingbackground, this paper finishes the needs’ analysis and the feasibilities’ analysis of partyaffairs’ management information system in the Sichuan College of ArchitecturalTechnology, and introduces the goal of the system, researching and analyzing theprocesses of business and the logical model of systems; Then it focuses on the design ofparty affairs’ management information system; Finally introducing the specificimplementation of the system, and finishing the related test.
