And the campus corresponding various demand also continuously improve. The construction of university in the dormitory is rapid development. But the corresponding management work in reforming and developing is slow. Especially the management system is not smooth, the management methods are backward and the strength is weak which lead to the management and construction seriously disrupted. As the saying goes: of construction and seven-tenths of management. Therefore, the universities attach great importance to management of dormitory and try to force’s dormitory management keep up with the pace of the education development. With the management of students’ dormitory work has been more and more heavy and trivial, the management requirements is continuously improve along with the unceasing development of information technology at the same time. It more and more emphasizes to realize the information management of students’ dormitory.The students’ dormitory management system is a work platform for student management in university. This platform is based on the basic information of students’ dormitory. And it takes servicing students and ensuring safety of students as the core. This paper combines with the daily work of students’ dormitory management. And analysis, design and implement a students’ dormitory management system with the software engineering theory, techniques and tools. In this paper the B/S architecture development application based on ASP.NET was discussed and SQL Server2008was used for the backed database server. Then the business process and functional requirements of the students’ dormitory management are detailed and thorough explanation. After that, is describes the main function design and implement of the system. The system is composed of many modules, such as dormitory management, person basic information management, utility bills service, network service, dormitory safety management and integrative query, etc. The system encourages the office efficiency of the students’ dormitory management departments greatly improved. And it provides an effective tool and means to further realize the scientific management.
