The Design And Implementation Of Chengdu Normal University Student Dormitory Management Information System

With the rapid development of the Internet and technology, the of computer application software are more and more popular. Undoubtedly, modern information management has been integrated into many fields of society and replaced traditional mode of manual management to greatly improve the efficiency and reliability. For schools, enrollment increases year after year, along with the faculty team and the size of the student who are studying in school, all together bring a lot of pressure to management. So, the application of student management system becomes the first condition to ensure the work efficiency and quality. And also it is necessary to realize standard management of school and to promote the construction of digital campus development as well as the modernized management.The purpose of this thesis is to design a student management system to meet the highly standard and requirement of ‘National secondary vocational education reform development of model schools’. The system will solve the problem of digital management of student information under the conditions of existing equipment and, particularly, the problem in the digitized dormitory management and moral education management, to effectively improve the efficiency of school management.The main contents of this thesis is the design and study to the student management system under the guidance of the ‘7S’ concept. Based on Commercial High School in ChengDu, the thesis, in combination with the implementation of ‘7S’ management, ‘credit bank’ and the actual situation of national demonstration school construction work on the demand for secondary vocational school information management, has analyzed different needs to different users involving students, first-line teachers and also the faculty who works on teaching management and dormitory management. In this thesis, we apply ideas and methods using software engineering to establish a overall architecture, which was suitable to the ‘7S’ management thoughts of Yibin Commercial High School. Additionally, we provide the methods about how to design and realize the core modules, that is to say ‘the modules of dormitory management and education management’, as well as related database.The overall architecture of the system uses B/S mode, which is a special C/S structure based on HTTP, to simplify client. It’s widely applicable and has low maintenance costs, which is in line with the requirements of schools’ financial and human resources. This design uses Visual Studio. net 2005 as development tool, which is based on NET Framework 2.0 and a popular Windows platform application development environment. Also, we use SQL Server 2005 as the back-end database, which is simple to handle, easy to use, powerful and very suitable for the development of the student management system.After detailed design and post test, the system has been put into operation in Yibin Commercial High School and realized thesisless, informational and digital office.
