With the continuous development of information technology and networking intoday’s society, a variety of information management systems, access control, identification,privacy and security requirements are getting higher and higher. The traditional recognitiontechnology include: keys, identity cards, passwords, and so on, these traditional recognitiontechnology there is likely to be lost, forged, not easy to carry shortcomings, resulting inunnecessary losses to the user. The traditional identification methods has been a seriouschallenge, can no longer meet the demand for high security, and the urgent need for anerror-prone, and not easy to crack, easy to carry new identification technologies or products.Therefore, in the above case, based on the body’s own inherent characteristics of biometricidentification technology came into being. Biometric identification technology analysis andcomparison of human beings unique biometric (fingerprint, iris, voice, face, etc.) by thediscrimination of these characteristics are the same in order to achieve the identification ofa technology.For the future identification technology, biometric identification technology has theguidance function, and the fingerprint identification technology is the most reliable andeffective one in it. In practical application, more and more fields start to use the biometricidentification technology, and it has higher demand for its convenience and usability. In thefuture, embedded and miniaturization is its development direction. The microprocessorsuch as ARM、DSP、FPGA, with the fast improvement, provide a reliable guarantee ofhardware for building embedded ness system.In this paper, it designed a vehicle alarm platform, realized automatically compositebiological characteristics theory based on ARM. It hardware foundation including two part:the first part is ARM hardware platform with embedded Linux operation system; the second part is the designation and realization of Fingerprint acquisition card. It brought anew method of composite biometrics compared and matched. At the end of the paper, itintroduced the design of visualized fingerprint identification software which is based on theMiniGUI.In addition, it made an embedded operation system according to the special requirement of automotive environment. Nowadays, fingerprint acquisition technology uses the mostadvanced semiconductor fingerprint sensor. It supports USB mode that belonged to universal data transmission, and has been optimized the picture Extraction and Matching accordingto the real condition of the operation system. During the process of building the visual character recognition system, it chose a picture support library which has a beautiful interface and less space occupying. The system shows its advantages in many aspects, such as safety,reliability, performance price ratio.
