It is Stock Management System based on IBM S/390environment for myundergraduate thesis.IBM S/390is the mainstream business Mainframe system in the world. It providesapplying environment for users who require high performance, high throughput, and highusage. Because IBM S/390is reliable and has the performance to deal with data easily inthe commercial field, it is widely used in Finance, Stock, Insurance, and etc.OS/390is an integrated enterprise server operating system. Open communicationsserver, distributed data and file services, parallel composite system support, object-orientedprogramming, DCE and open Application Programming Interface are integrated into aproduct by OS/390. As a superior operating system of mainframes, it has high reliability,openness, continuous availability, security properties, and etc.With the development of science technology, Revolutionary changes have taken placein the securities market, which has more and more impacted on people’s life. Securitiestrading management system of securities information query, securities trading and othersquickly developed. In securities trading, information transmission is requested fast andaccuracy and real-time of securities information are demanded, meantime, because of ahuge amount of security information and trading often trans-regional, therefore, safe,reliable, high-performance and highly scalable stock management system is needed. Now,increasingly sophisticated technology of the development of distributed multi-layersseparated customer and resource, which has the function of continuous buffer loadbalancing safety management and so on, reduces the load on Web servers, avoids theimpacting on the overall performance because of the deficiencies of the Web serverscomparing with the traditional development model of the CAS single-layer. Thus, theoverall flexibility and scalability of Web applications were greatly enhanced, which providesa better solution for the stock management system.The securities area is a field in which high security, stability and reliability arerequired. With the IBM S/390mainframe systems to run the security system, Undoubtedlyit is the best choice to run the security system on the IBM S/390mainframe system. Theoperations to be achieved in the system included three specific steps. First, make the TRSfiles of purchase and sale. Second, check and process the TRS files and inventory OLDBAL files every day, then organize NEW BAL. Third, make the daily of purchases andsales. This paper involved the first step of the system. The purpose is to check the bills of daily purchases and sales bills according to the customer’s needs, thus the right to form newTRS files of procurement and sales. The entire system was programmed by Assembler.Because assembler language can take full advantage of the hardware characteristics of themachine and the codes written out occupy small space and have high efficiency. However,it is the underlying language, the developers are request to well know and understand theknowledge about memory space and registers while programming.Through this graduation project, I generally understand the basic knowledge ofmainframe, I have largely mastered programming on the mainframe by Assembler, I havebenefited from this. During the development of the system, we mainly used two kinds oflanguages: HLASM (High Level Assembler) and JCL (Job Control Language). We alsoused some other knowledge about IBM OS/390, such as TSO, ISPF/PDF, PDS, SDS and soon.This system belongs to the securities company as a part of the stock managementsystem. The securities firm has lots of branches. This system is used to make statistics andmanagement of stock purchase deal from various branches (purchased from the customersand shipped to various outlets) and securities sales deal (sell to customers from everybranch). It is required to be able to verify and make the statistics of the original account ticketsof every branch, and generate TRS files of purchase and sale (namely, the statistics files ofdaily stock purchase and sale). Meantime, BAL files (the remaining files the day beforewhich record the trading of every stock from every branch) can be updated and finally thedaily of purchase and sale can be produced. Reasons of timing, only generation of TRS filewas designed in this paper.In this paper, needs analysis and module functional analysis of the stock managementsystem were made firstly. Then, based on above analysis, the overall design of the wholesystem was given, the software development process and the algorithm design of everyfunction module were presented. Last, the system was achieved by encoding. The functionof every module in the system was realized, and each module was tested to verify if everyfunction of each module was implemented and whether it is good. Search program bug anddebug, The overall performance of the function module was tested, and finally the designobjectives were accomplished.
