The Design And Implement Of Assembler For LX-1164

Compiler tool chains are very important in the process of developing a chip. And assembler is an important part in the compilier tool chains.The work of this paper is developing a new assembler for LX-1164 CPU, which contains the design and the implement of this assembler.The author has deeply researched the assembler principles and methods.Then according to some papers and technology articles, brings forward a plan of porting GAS for LX-1164.Because that the target machine is LX-1164, so the paper describes the architecture of LX-1164 first. And then introduces the ELF which we choose for LX-1164. At the same time, GAS using BFD to manipulate the Binary File, the paper describes it also. And at the end, we describe the process of porting GAS for LX-1164.
