With the rapid development of computer internet, people communicate with each otherand begin to image how to connect human with things and how to connect things with things,so the concept of “the internet of things” comes into being. The internet of things which is anew technical revolution and industrial chain came to be discussed warmly in2009.Thelarge-scale technology of the internet of things has broken through the restriction of singleindustry; it has made many other industries being related. The development of the internet ofthings depends on the total integration of information collection, transmission and processing,it must break through information collection technical bottleneck. As an enabling technology,RFID which automatically recognizes and gets data of objects through RF signal is animportant method of information collections.The intelligent campus is the future direction which is more information-based, digitalon the base of campus internet development and application. It presents communicationdemand like Intelligent Earth in which anyone can communicate anytime; anywhere.At theage of the internet of things, building up a new intelligent comprehensive information servicenetwork is a new solution for future development trend with the integration and utilization ofRFID technology, huge campus internet, information resources, advanced transmissionnetwork and intelligent terminals at present.This thesis proposes RFID, one of the key basic the internet of things technologies,builds up a ubiquitous intelligent information network through cable and wirelesstransmission network, various intelligent terminals and campus internet informationresources.It mainly implements the basic functions of the ID identification of students andteachers, doorway system, electronic wallet, book borrow, mobile payment, meetingmanagement and cards comprehensive management system. It also helps the campuscomplete electronic, paperless and systematic management. The intelligent informationnetwork keeps communication among schools, parents and students anytime, which can makeparents, realize information and problems of students about learning and living.The methods and applications in this thesis are different from the traditional campusLAN. It contains more open network structure, various and intelligent network terminals and plenty of content compared with the campus LAN, which would be one of the best solutionsfor intelligent campus network.The development of intelligent campus network is confronted with various kinds ofproblems under the influence of lack of a universal standard criterion in its infancy, but allthese problems would be solved gradually with the advent of the internet of things anddevelopment of the ubiquitous network.Every country put forward the development strategic construction of “Intelligent Earth”.In the near future, the internet of things will bring about great change the current way ofhuman throughout the world. The network will become more broadband, convergent andintelligent. The campus network will enter into a complete new digital and intelligent erabased on “Cloud Application”,“Intelligent Pipeline” and “Intelligent Terminals”.
