Design And Implementation Of The GIS-based Power Distribution Management System

Geography Information System with the digital figure reflects space data in the real world. And also the Geography Information System describes characteristic attribute of space data. It supports to inputting, outputting, saving and showing the space data and the property data, and at the same time it carries on the search of the geography space information, synthetically analysis and accessorial decision-making. Along with the development of information the world is entering a computer era for the center to Internet. Especially in power enterprise management, management information and geographical information can be done on the same platform, and information search can be more convenient and efficient.GIS-based distribution management system is designed and implemented in the background of application requirements. And on the basis of detailed study on GIS, this thesis design and finish the system. In accordance with actual requirements, the system adopts the Client/Server architecture, and MapXtreme Java as the GIS platform. The system includes following functions:external system data import, data processing, statistical analysis, search and location, map rendering, map interaction, geographic data processing, layer processing, External interface, system management and map output. These functions make the power system management provide the more definitude and convenient for operation modes. It makes the statistical analysis the results of the comparison intuitive and quick.Firstly, this thesis introduces the background of system development and important action. It introduces simply the Geography Information System, and related technology. We make the actual demand of software, introduced the development platform, and expound this system of the design thought. According to the demand of software, we complete the system function design and database design.And the system focuses on the instructions of the module way.complementary with words and the way of flow chart. Finally, this thesis introduced the system test, and the results are explained. And we summarize the problems in debugging and testing, and provide the corresponding solutions, and summarize aspects of the system to be improved.
