This major researches the applications of Turbo product codes (TPC) in the relay communication system. TPC is a kind of channel coding technique which has the characteristics of high bit-rate, lower decoding complexity. Because of its unique coding structure and iterative decoding method, it would have good prospects in relay communication system.This article first describes the coding techniques in modern digital communications and their applications in a collaborative communication system.Discusses the principles of encoding and decoding of Turbo product codes, details the iterative decoding algorithm based on Chase decoder, and compares the simulation results of TPC on the AWGN channel while change the factors which have effect on the performance of the decoding of TPC.Then study the applications of TPC in T-pattern relay communication system. Proposed decoding forward mode and demodulation forward mode relay transmission scheme based on the TPC, and compared of the performance of the two scheme through computer simulation.This article last researches the applications of TPC in multiple access relay communication system. A transmission scheme which is based on network coding and a iterative decoding method which is based on soft information merged are designed in the article. Finally we simulate the results under different TPC component code and number of iterations.
