By means of the method of combining theoretical analysis with computersimulation and experiments test, the plane wave synthesis technique based onoptimization algorithms is studied and applied in near-field antenna measurements andnear-field scattering measurements.The main contents are as follows:Firstly, in two-dimensional problems, the plane wave synthesis technique based oncosine window function with the parameters optimized by dynamic differentialevolution algorithm is applied in near-field radiation measurements. Based on theoptimized consine window function, dynamic differential evolution algorithm isutilized optimize the exciting weight of the probe in a light disturbance way so as tosynthesis the quasi-plane wave with better uniform distribution of amplitude and phasein the target zone. The optimized results are applied in near-field scatteringmeasurements. The plane wave synthesis technique based on least square method isapplied in near-field scattering measurements and the results are compared with thetheoretical results and that obtained by physical optics method and the plane wavesynthesis technique optimized by consine window function.Secondly, by means of the theory of plane wave synthesis based on least squaremethod, the electric dipole set twice orthogonally is utilized as the probe to synthesisplane wave. The application of this method into near-field measurements on arrayantennas is theoretically analyzed and computer simulated. Principal plane patterns andthree-dimensional patterns are given and compared with the theoretical results andthose obtained by the traditional method of near-field to far-field transformation.Finally, based on the theoretical analysis and computer simulation, the researchresults above are applied into the practice of near-field antenna measurements. Withthe open-ended rectangular wave guide as the probe, the technique of plane wavesynthesis is computer simulated and the experiments test is performed.The results of the computer simulation and the experiment show that the methodpresented in this paper requires much fewer number of sampling points than thetraditional methods and widens the sampling interval on the premise of ensuring andimproving the measurement precision,thereby improves the measurement efficiencygreatly....
