Based on the concept of antenna near-field measurement and the theory of plane wave spectrum(PWS), the theory of plane near-field measurement and error analysis are introduced, two errors of plane radiation near-field measurement are discussed in detail: the probe positioning error and the truncation error of finite scanning. To begin with, the influence that plane scanning error has on the far field is analyzed and the upper boundary of the error is formulated. And then this paper uses the Taylor series expansion to correct the probe positioning error in antenna near-field measurement. Similarly, the paper also makes an analysis of the effect that the truncation error of finite scanning has upon the far-field pattern and then introduces the consequent method of compensation. A comparative analysis of simulation results and theoretical computing results proves the feasibility of both the compensation methods.Besides, the technique of self-transmitting and self-receiving monostatic planar near-field scattering measurements is studied in the thesis based on PWS and PO.
