Design And Implementation Of Domestic Pharmaceutical Information Management Systems Based On GSP

In recent years, with the rapid development of the domestic pharmaceuticalcompanies, the kinds of medicine change with every day. How to manage the abundantmedicines becomes a serious problem. Protect health and life security of peopleconscientiously, from the2004, Government manage to medicines enterpriseimplement mandatory medicines deal in the standard management of quality,abbreviated as GSP. Although more and more computers are widely used inpharmaceutical companies, most pharmaceutical management system does not containthe GSP management function. The core modules of the traditional managementinformation systems consist of sales, deposit and financial etc. and most of them didnot consider the quality of medicines management. Because the quality of medicinesrelated to physical and mental health of millions of patients, a GSP-basedpharmaceutical management system is in urgent need.Base on above background, we design and implement a GSP-basedpharmaceutical management system. First, we introduce the paper background anddomestic and international status of GSP-based pharmaceutical management system,and discuss the main design architectures which include Client/Server andBrowser/Server structure, and some development technologies related. Then, based onthe status of the pharmaceutical enterprises, we analyze the medicine managementsystem user, business processes and system management etc. requirement. Finally, weconduct extensive testing to study the performance of the system. Our testing showsthat the system is easy to operate, convenient to the quality of medical informationmanagement to achieve our goals.
