Design And Implementing Of Information Communication System Based On XPCOM

In the trend of globalization of every walk of life, collaborative work becomesincreasingly popular. The collaborative work may involve people in differentgeographical locations, or even different vocations and members of the organization.Therefore it becomes more complicated to communicate and coordinate effectivelyduring collaborative work processing. Mainly to resolve the problems of incompletecommunication records and discordant communication content in present co-ordinationwork communication software, a Distributed Information Communication System isdesigned and implemented in this paper. This system integrates the version controlfunction of documents for communication into the processing of the communicating,not only provides complete communication records but also guarantees that the contentis accordance with communication processing.In this article based on analysis on the system requirement, some technology isstudied; major in the mechanism of the Distributed Version Control System, MozillaCross Platform Component Object Model technology and Cross Platform UserInterface technology. The use case diagrams and function module diagrams areprovided, the tier technology framework is designed, and the detail design of theDistribute Information Communication System function is given in this thesis,including login in, system setting, topic creating, topic replying, query of topic/reply,topic import/export and quick browsing. A light weight information communicationplatform is implements, which is easy to use and has good extensibility. Lastly the testproves that the Distributed Information Communication System’s effectiveness andfeasibility meet design for requirement.
