The radar system plays an important role in modern warfare, and even becomes akey factor to determine the winner, so the jamming methods for the radar system andthe methods that the radar system against jamming has become the research focus theseyears. The chaff jamming, as the most important passive jamming method, has manyadvantages, such as easy to use, easy to manufacture and can affect a large area, and it isused widely, so the research of chaff jamming on radar system has an importantsignificance and broad application prospects in the military field. This paper designs thesimulation software of the chaff jamming on radar system.This paper proposed a design program of chaff jamming on radar system first,including the simulation of counter script, the simulation of the movement andelectromagnetic feature of chaff, the simulation of phased array radar and PD radarseeker and jamming effects evaluation; designed the architecture of the software, andgave the flow chart of the software as well. Then analyzed the functions of the modules,and based on VC++6.0platform, used MFC and OpenGL, designed the modules indetails, including the research and the simulation of the radar data processing algorithmof algorithm module, the design of the demonstration interface of the display module,and the design of the main interface and the parameter input interface of the controllermodule.The results shows that the software designed in this paper can simulate chaffagainst dynamic process correctly, and can be used in the research of chaff jammingmethods and the training of simulated combat. The interfaces of the software arefriendly and beautiful, and the modules can achieve their presentation capablities.
