Rearch Of Chaff Cloud’s Electromagnetic Characteristics And Simulation Software Design

With the increasing development of modern electronics for resistance.Chaff hasbeen widely used as a simple, cheap and effective means of passive interference.Therefore, the research for the electromagnetic characteristics and motioncharacteristics of chaff cloud plays a vital role in the radar-jamming and anti-jammingtechnology.At first this paper describes the characteristics of the sources of threats from abroad,and analyzes the demanding conditions for the chaff bomb when chaff interferes somethe sources of threats; Second, this paper proposes a simulation system for interferenceeffect of chaff bomb,which includes the chaff cloud’s static analysis module and thedynamic movement module, the former raises the chaff cloud’s polarization and averageRCS module, the laster mainly raises the chaff cloud’s motion and electromagneticcharacteristics modle under the influence of aircraft wake; Third, according to eachmodule this paper designs the simulation software of chaff bomb’s interference effectsin the air, by setting the parameters of aircraft, radar and chaff bomb, the gram for thechaff cloud’s velocity, displacement, RCS features and volume over time will be got, atthe same time this paper also quantitatively analyzes and describes these characristics;Finally, it gives the comparative simulation and analysis for the dynamic characteristicsof chaff cloud under different initial conditions, which can get the initial launchingparameters that make the chaff cloud interference achieve the best results under thedifferent aircraft types or radar polarization and other environmental conditions.
