Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) is one cutting-edge technology which hasbeen developed in recent years. This technology can complete the function ofautomatically identifying so that it has been widely used in the field of service industry,logistics, and traffic management and so on. However, RFID is rarely been applied inthe field of auditing service used by traffic police.At the beginning of this thesis, the overall proposal has been designed and thehardware has been chosen based on the requirement of RFID system. Moreover, thispaper has pay attention to the design and realization of sub-module of RFID system,including the data collection of vehicle, RFID tag management, auditing services, etc.Particularly, RFID tag data storage, data collection concurrent server and handhelddevices system have been put more emphasis on. Furthermore, a novel system has beenimplemented which is composed of data collection, data storage, auditing services andmobility.Finally, functional tests for the key parts of the system have been performed, andresults indicate that the system can successfully accomplish the requirements of theauditing services. What is more, the robustness, feasibility and effectiveness of thesystem are also achieved.
