The information flow of house-keeping and GPS subsystems on satellite need to besimulated when testing the satellite control subsystem, the purpose and emphasis ofresearch in this paper are identified based on the relevant efforts. First, through theanalysis of the functional requirements of the simulation system, it’s design goals andthe corresponding functional requirements are confirmed. Then, analyzing two kinds ofthe architectures of the simulation system and selecting the one kind, the developmentmode highlighting the software is decided, the designs and implementation methods offour function modules are described particularly, they are telemetering, inject,telecontrol and GPS.In implementing the simulation of the information flow of house-keeping host, theimplementation method that is suitable for the industry-specific control computer isputted forward to ensure the correctness and sequencing of the simulation systemexecution. Also, in implementing the simulation of GPS subsystem’s information flow,the implementation mechanism is created to realize the unity of time between thecontrol subsystem and simulation system, ensuring the operability and realizableness ofthe GPS PPS. Additionally, some technical implementation strategies are presented toimprove its versatility and extensibility. Finally, the details of demonstration and testingof the simulation system are presented.The acceptance test results of the simulation system of onboard house-keeping andGPS subsystem’s information flow show that the simulation system’s specifications canmeet its design requirements. Using the simulation system, the operating status of thehouse-keeping host can be simulated well. High precise GPS time is introduced firstlyinto the simulated flight testing of the control subsystem, it plays the critical role whiletrouble-shooting the onboard time sequencing and information flow questions in thecontrol subsystem tests.
