Photogrammetric scanner is a kind of image input device,it has the characteristicsof high precision,and it has been widely used in the field of which demands a highquality digital images such as photographic surveying,remote sensing and geographicalinformation etc. Recently,photogrammetric scanner has become an essential imagescanning input device for surveying and mapping department,but almost of them arestill foreign imports,so an independent development of high precision photogrammetricscanner has become urgent needs.Precision detection and ascension ofphotogrammetric scanner plays an important role in the development, this paper iswritten based on researching of precision detection and ascension technology ofphotogrammetric scanner.Firstly,the paper introduces the application of photogrammetric scanner and thebackground of the subject,and explains the structure,the working principle and thefactors of causing precision error.And then introduces the technology of imagepre-processing,binarization,Hough transform.By using the above technology, wecan detect the straight line in the image. After the concept of subpixel are given, andseveral kinds of sub-pixel location methods contrast,we choose the best method tocalculate photogrammetric scanner precision.At last,we set the parameters of eachCCD in the software,and realize the precision ascension of photogrammetric scanner.
