Photogrammetric scanner, as a type of picture-scanning input equipment, is mainly designed for the fields in which need high precise photogrammetric digital video, such as total digital photograph measurement, remote sensing, geographical information system (GIS) and so on, as a result, it is a necessary picture-scanning input device for the mapping department. Board control system of photogrammetric scanner fulfills the job of rolling, planishing and orientating of the photogrammetric waiting to be scanned, which provide for precise scan of photogrammetric.Universal serial bus (USB) supports the features such as plug and play and hot plug. Because of its high speed of transmission and low price, it gradually becomes the interface standard for the peripheral equipment of personal computer ,and is widely used in various digital products. The thesis analyzes the board control system principle of photogrammetric scanner, and presents a design scheme on the basis of single chip Micyoco EZ-USB FX2, and introduces the realization of board control system in hardware and software.In this design, Micro Computer Control Unit of CY7C68013, which is still the controller of this system, is realized as the interface of the host by high speed USB2.0, and the CPLD chip is used for the subdivision control of the step motor in a microstepping mode and precision detection of the station of photogram, thus the rolling control, planishing and orientating of the photogrammetric waiting to be scanned is accomplished. The mutual operation and state display of photogrammetric scanner system can implement by the control panel and LCD graphical dot matrix monitor. On the basis of the hardware design of board control system of photogrammetric scanner, this paper presents the software design of this system which consists of USB firmware design and USB universal driver programming design. The firmware design includes the monitor of system, step motor microstepping drive, display control programme of LCD, control panel and so on. In the end a brief conclusion of the project is brought forward.
