The Design And Realization Of The University Media Materials Management System

In recent years, with the rapid development of multimedia technology, the application of multimedia technology has become widespread. Multimedia materials of university, which is the fields of knowledge heritage and information distribution, are increasingly rich and even inflated. Faced with this situation, how to manage and save a higher accumulation of a large number of valuable media materials has become an urgent problem. Under the growing impact of multimedia technology, traditional storage methods, storage media and storage format have showed the limitations. How to save and reuse these valuable media resources efficiently, as well as satisfy blowout application requirements, have become an urgent issue facing contemporary education technology personnel and file managers. Due to the nature of the educational institutions, media demands of university teachers and students for amount and quality are relatively higher. They put forward higher requirements for the management of media data, and they have higher performance requirements in management and retrieval efficiency traditional media management has not achieved. Therefore, aiming at the problem of media management of universities, it is proposed to establish an university media materials management system.This paper is based on the media materials management of Liaoning University of International Business and Economics for the project background. According to the demands of the university, the system analysis, design and implementation are carried out to solve the safe and long-term preservation, publishment and reuse of all kinds of media materials. Especially user-friendly two-lane architecture CS/BS is adopted. The whole process of media collection, cataloging, storage, archiving publishing, retrieving and reuse is achieved. Modular design is realized to separate services and applications in the actual development of the media materials management system. Various modules have independent functions, so the user can arrange the interaction among modules on demand reasonably, at the same time scalability of the entire media materials management system is greatly improved.
