| Human development is an ancient and often new topic, no matter what time of socialdevelopment, people can’t be separated from the thinking and attention to human developmentproblem all the time. With the development of the human being as the core and purpose ofMax humanism theory, with the development of the network society enters the theoryresearch front.The Internet is the birthplace of the United States, by the1990s it gained popularity inChina. Whether in abroad or at home, the emergence of the Internet with the irreversibletendency deeply is affecting human society, has become the indispensable importantcomponent of people’s lives. In this paper, on the basis of the comprehensive survey of thestatus of Chinese and foreign study, absorb and learn from the existing research results,profound and comprehensive analysis of the network society of human development. Thearticle is mainly divided into the following four parts:The first part, carries out the basic elaboration to the network society and humandevelopment theory, including the definition and the basic characteristics of the networksociety, the connotation and the realization condition of the human development. The networksociety referred to in this article refers to the Internet for information communication medium,with the virtual nature of society, it can be said based on the Internet as an intermediaryformation of a new action space and the living environment by man, machine and informationconnected to each other composition, where virtuality, freedom, openness, richness ofinformation resources, are the basic characteristics of the network society. This article has alsomade the brief elaboration to human development theory, thought human development mainlydisplays in the development of people’s ability, need, social relations, personality. Amongthem, the height of the development of productive forces, the acquisition of free time, theelimination of the old division of labor, the enrichment and development of social relationsand so on, are the important condition for achieving human development.The second part, mainly discusses the network society on the people’s developmentinfluence. First of all, the network society on human development has had a positive impact. For example, the rich information resources and virtuality practice of the network society,achieve the people’s cognitive ability and practice ability to improve; the rich informationresources and virtuality communication of the network society, improve the people’s materialand spiritual needs to meet; the openness and virtuality communication, promote theenrichment and development of human social relations; the high degree of freedom andvirtuality of the network society, promote the development of human personality. Secondly,the network society on human development has also brought some negative influence. Since there are many problems in the network society, this needs us to try to reducethe negative impact on human development of the network society, make the network societybecome a vast space of human development, so as to better serve humanity. On the one hand,we need to strengthen the objective measures implementation, the standard network behaviorand the popular network application, for instance, improving the laws and regulations of thenetwork society, building up ethics and moral system of the network society, promoting thenetwork technology research and development, increasing government support strength; onthe other hand, we must improve the network subject quality, use the network resourcescorrectly, for example, strengthening the network subject self-discipline and self-controlconsciousness, enhancing the network subject to the real life sense of belonging, reinforcingthe network subject moral cultivation, insisting the scientific value orientation.In short, the network society is a "double-edged sword", we should take a dialecticalattitude comprehensive, correct understanding of the network society on human development,make up for one’s deficiency by learning from other’s strong points, give full play to theadvantage of the network society, reduce the negative effect of the network society, thenpromote the course of human development. |
