The last decade, the changes from the world shipbuilding market share of China’s shipbuilding industry, the proportion has being increased significantly, and China has become one of the important shipbuilding centers in the world."12th Five-Year" will be the critical period of development of China’s shipbuilding industry, so China will accelerate the development pattern in the independent innovation capacity, product mix, production efficiency and the development of marine equipment industry.In this context, the construction of the intelligent pre-processing system for the Ship navigation performance numerical simulation (hereinafter referred to as "pre-treatment system") is particularly important. Pre-treatment system is the dedicated numerical simulation software which developed for the field of shipbuilding industry, and different from the general fluid dynamics numerical simulation software. Many domestic and foreign Ship-research institutions have self-developed numerical simulation software, but these systems only for themselves and generally do not have the intelligent features. According to this, these applications of the industry bring a lot of inconvenience, and not conducive to efficiency.This thesis focuses on the field of the data structures which based on some standard industry format files for the shipbuilding (the table of offsets, IGES file, etc.) and the hull mesh which also based on these data files, developed a unified data output interface standards to facilitate the data result which after pre-processing systems processed and be able to use by commercially available CFD software, and ultimately realize the entire pre-processing system. Development tools provide a complete and mature system, we use these tools to establish the system framework and in the implementation process to solve the intelligent modeling for the ship, the performance data’s simulation implementation and meshing computing problems. In addition, according to the specific needs of the project, we use OpenGL in the graphics field, and let the results from the pre-treatment system to show in the Windows view. This thesis focuses on theoretical knowledge in specific areas, and to solve the practical problems. This study provides an example to show the usage of pre-treatment system application widely.
