More and more errors occurred in software development project for the more and more complexity customer requirement. As the most important part of software development, requirement management is the large dependences for software project success. In this thesis, the requirement management process is improved based on the traditional Waterflow model, Agile-Orient development and company’s status, with advanced requirement priority method. At first, we reviewed the traditional requirement management method and all existing triage theory research from literatures. A new priority method was raised to cover both dynamic customer requirement and non-functional requirement. The Business Value, Lost Value, Effort, Risk and Relevance were full considered in the new method. Secondly, the priority method was involved into the software requirement management process. And then, we adjusted the requirement management process to make them more suitable for agile model and change requirement situation. Finally, we tested the new requirement management method in an actual project team, and the applicability and validity were approved. The main achievement was included:1. the weakness of all existing priority methods were analyzed and listed, especially under the agile development model2. the priority method was improved in order to meet the agile special features3. Requirement management process including change management process was updated, after involving the new requirement priority method. Meanwhile, the activities of requirement management were changed as well in the new requirement management process4. The new method was applied into a real project team, and its applicability and validity were approved. We would like to continue researching on the weakness of this method in the future.
