The Energy Management System Based On Ifixes Configuration Technology Development

An unprecedented new challenge is faced by the energy supplier, the Industrial enterprise and the consumers While the world energy demand climbing unceasingly and the natural resource depletion day-by-day. And the request of saving energy and raising the use factor are hardly satisfied by the traditional way of energy management. The energy management system (i.e. EMS)of the Jilin steel limited company is an automatic control system with the collection and control of equipments’datum using the Siemens SIMATIC NET software and industry Ethernet technology that based on the I FIX technology which explored by the GE company. This energy management system achieves centralization of management in long distance through integrating all the functions, such as data acquisition, processing and analysis, control and dispatch, balanced forecast and energy management.At first, the current situation of energy management is discussed to clarify the problems of the ones which run currently, and then have a further discussion about the necessary to design another energy management system. Moreover, the function of the I FIX technology using in this energy management system is discussed in detail. The major operation flow of the system is clarified such as data’s supervision, demand of the history data’s tendency and inquiry of alarm. After the analyzing, this article gets a conclusion that the ring-like redundant topology has an active effect to the system stability, which has a detailed design on the major branch system such as, data collection, data of energy supervision and the data of energy file off. Then the author pays attention on the achievement of data’s dynamic supervision and remote monitoring base on the IFIX configuration. At the end, a conclusion and outlook is made about the energy management system.
