PVC paste resin can be made into all kinds of products with good performance and wideapplication area, mixed with agent. Besides raw materials of producing PVC paste resin arevery abundant and easily own, so which have excellently cost performance. With the rapideconomic development, PVC paste resin has become one of the most important plasticvarieties in the world. Because of it, most manufacturer began project of PVC paste resin, butbecause low-grade production level, have no advanced manufacturing technology as so on,many manufacturer of PVC paste resin have high overall investment cost, the largeproduction strength, the low production efficiency, Therefore, it is particularly important toemploy advanced produced technology and use the DCS system integration meetingproduction of PVC paste resin, Which has important significance for production safety,ensuring the quality, improving the economic efficiency, reducing the consumption,controlling pressure, flow rate, temperature, liquid level etc.Using PVC paste resin production control system of a group as the main object, thisarticle discussed the soft problem about the Engineer Station and the Operation Station, andtalked over the production process characteristics of PVC paste resin production and producedcontrol requirements based on micro suspension method. Based on CENTUM CS3000produced by Japanese YOKOGAWA, in order to discuss design of CENTUM CS3000,manyaspects have discussed, such as hardware configuration of production control system, HIS,engineer function, software configuration of CENTUM CS3000DCS, control system design,reliability and security design of CENTUM CS3000DCS as so on. Focused on the researchand solve the development and design such as batch control of PVC paste resin production,feedback control, recipe management, basing on CENTUM CS3000DCS. In addition,detailedly introduced the calculation and the characteristics of polymerized percentconversion.Polymerized percent conversion can direct the production balance, which providesa good condition to realize for PVC resin particles characteristics and PVC paste resin quality.In the control strategy, for control the temperature of polymerization kettle, according to thecharacteristics and requirements of the production process, designed and applied fuzzy-PIDcontrol+Cascade control method, temperature control accuracy to±0.2℃.Since design of PVC control device based on DCS ran in September,2010, it has thefollowing advantages: stable operation, low failure rate, safe and reliable and the obvious overall effect, which completely satisfied of the production process of PVC paste resinproduction. And which has kinds of control function, easily maintenance and operate, notonly shorten the operating personnel training time, but also realized closed-type automaticfeeding sequence control in PVC paste resin production, and the batch production control,Besides, which has reduced the labor intensity of the operators, and can be carry on the trackprocessing of accidental situation, which can be commendably protected the work safety ofthe workers and the equipment.
